The total depth of the well is 8322 meters, with a vertical depth of 8069.71 meters, setting a new record for the shortest drilling cycle of ultra-deep wells in China exceeding 8000 meters.
FY304-H2 well is a key horizontal well deployed by Tarim Oilfield in the southern section of the FI16 fault zone in the transition zone of Amang Fault in the northern depression of the Tarim Basin.
The company actively promotes the integrated geological engineering service model, communicates fully with relevant parties before drilling, determines the location of complex strata, anticipates technical challenges for the entire well, and selects suitable high-temperature-resistant screw rods and instruments based on the bottom hole static temperature.
